Refund Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Cutola sells credits that are used to access image-processing tools. Credits are consumable digital goods supplied immediately on purchase. This policy explains when refunds are and are not available. It does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

1. Digital goods and your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel purchases of digital content. However, by purchasing credits you expressly request immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once credits have been used. This is because credits are consumed the moment a paid tool processes an image.

2. Unused credits

If you have purchased a credit pack and have not used any of the credits from that purchase, you may request a full refund of that pack within 14 days of the transaction. Once any credit from a pack has been consumed, that pack is considered used and is generally non-refundable.

3. Failed or faulty processing

We only charge credits for jobs that complete successfully. If a paid job fails due to a fault on our side, the credits for that job are not deducted, or are returned to your balance automatically. If you believe you were charged for a job that did not deliver a usable result, contact us and we will investigate and re-credit you where appropriate.

4. How refunds are processed

Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Polar and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. The corresponding credits are removed from your account when a refund is issued.

5. Free credits and promotions

Free signup credits and any promotional credits have no cash value and are not eligible for a refund.

6. How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact us through our contact page with the email address on your account and, where possible, your Polar order reference. We aim to respond to all refund requests within a few business days.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection law. If digital content we supply is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund regardless of the limitations above.
